AOL Instant Messanger (AIM for short) allows its users to customize themselves through the use of Buddy Icons. These icons are 48x48px sized pictures of pretty much anything you want. If you like Sanji as much as I do, you might want to personalise yourself with a Sanji-style Buddy Icon. :D I've made a variety of different Buddy Icons for you to use only on AIM. Directions for using them are at the bottom of this page.
If you happen to post at forums like I do, then you know it's nice to have an avatar featuring a favourite character of yours. ^_^ And if you're here, you probably like Sanji, right? So why not have a Sanji avatar? The shocking revalation! I've made some avatars for you to use at any forums you post at, but please remember that they are to be used for that purpose only! Directions for using them are at the bottom of the page.
AIM Buddy Icons: Mac Users
1. Chose a Buddy Icon you would like to use and download it to the "AIM Buddy Icon" folder.
2. Open AIM and go to the menu bar. Chose AIM -> My Account Settings. Then click on the "Buddy Icon" tab.
3. Select the Buddy Icon you would like to use from the drop down menu and click "save."
Forum Avatars: PC/Mac Users
1. Chose the avatar you would like to use and download it to your computer.
2. You will have to upload the avatar to your own webspace. If you do not have webspace, it's possible that the forum you post at will allow you to upload your avatar there. This feature is available in the "Avatar Settings" section on the personal control panel at said forums. The name of the control panel may vary from forum to forum, but it will be something similar.
3. Either upload your avatar to the forums or, if you've uploaded your avatar to your webspace, put the URL to your avatar in the appropriate field.
4. Save your settings.
LiveJournal Avatars: PC/Mac Users
1. Select the avatar you would like to use and download it to your computer.
2. Go to LiveJournal.com, locate the menu bar and chose Manage -> User Pictures.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the user picture page to the "Upload New Picture" section and click the "Chose File" button. Go to the folder where you downloaded the avatar and select it.
4. If you want this avatar to be your default avatar, leave the check box as it is... otherwise, make sure that it is unchecked and click "Proceed." Your avatar will be uploaded.
5. You have the option of giving the avatar a custom keyword or title. It's advised that you do this so you can tell your avatars apart from one another.
