Sanji & Nico Robin

Being the lady-loving guy he is, Sanji became smitten with Robin the instant he laid eyes on her, even if she was a threat to the Straw Hat Pirates at the time. She's a [very sexy] woman and that's pretty much all that Sanji sees. Even when she shows up after Crocodile is defeated to ask Luffy if she can join his crew, Sanji is the only one who isn't freaked out and put on guard. (Although, that could just be contributed to Sanji's lack of caring about good and evil when it comes to women. ^^;)

Although Sanji really seems to be head over heels for Robin at times, his romantic interest in her isn't all that different than it is with any other woman; his heart really goes to Nami. He accepts her as a nakama though and he's usually one of the first people to stand up for Robin when someone insults her character. Although this is probably because he has a strong chivalrous nature, I think Sanji really does believe that Robin is a good and trustworthy person. If someone slanders her, he will argue that she's not like that at all. Like Nami, she also gets prime treatment from Sanji when it comes to anything involving food; she gets served first with the best quality food aboard the Going Merry.

Robin generally seems amused by Sanji's actions. Deep down, I think she really enjoys the geniune attention that Sanji gives her, seeing how she's been alone all her life and has never really had any sort of true affection aimed at her. She just doesn't let on that she likes it that much.

Unfortunately, since Robin hasn't been with the Straw Hat Pirates for very long, there isn't much else to say about her relationship with Sanji. However, I'm sure that something major with Robin is going to happen in the manga and when it does, I'll be sure to add to this. ^^
