music
One Piece has a large selection of music that varies between ending and opening theme songs, character image songs, background music and more. Sanji's seiyuu, Hirata Hiroaki does an excellent singing job and all of his music is a joy to listen to. ^^ While some songs are better than others, I find none of them to be bad!
In this section, you can download Sanji's character image songs and background music and read Japanese and English lyrics where applicable. For the time being, I'm not going to include songs where the entire Straw Hat Pirate crew is singing as that would end up being quite a few songs but you can find songs where Sanji is singing with one or two other cast members.
All songs are provided in the most recent
AAC file format. These .m4a files
will work on your computer; if you have the ability to play .mp3 files, you will be able to play .m4a files. Also,
please download only one song at a time! Doing so will save me a lot of bandwidth, thanks. ^^
The Great Blue ~ Dessert wa Kimi
The Great Blue ~ Dessert wa Kimi (AAC File, 5.4mb; 5:54)
Lyrics: Japanese & English
Performer: Sanji (Hirata Hiroaki)
Composer: Tanaka Kouhei
Lyrics By: Fujibayashi Seiko
Arrangement: Murase Kyohisa
A jazzy sort of compilation, this is one of Sanji's cooler songs. :D I was really surprised to hear that it was jazz when I heard it for the first time... as Sanji would say, it made me fall in love all over again! Hearing Japanese singing in jazz was a bit strange at first but it really grew on me.

Sea Moon, See You Karaoke (AAC File, 3.7mb; 4:04)
Lyrics: Japanese & English
Performer: Young Sanji (Otani Ikue)
Composer: Kanzo Yudai
Lyrics By: Fujibayashi Seiko
Arrangement: Kanzo Yudai
"Sea Moon, See You" first appeared on the One Piece Music & Song Collection 2 soundtrack, where the karaoke version of the original song was featured on the One Piece Music & Song Collection 3 soundtrack. It features young Sanji singing a rather solemn tune. It's a very cute song and feels almost like a lullaby (which is fitting, since that's what the song is about). Although it has a serene feel to it, the lyrics are actually kind of haunting for a song that's supposed to be sung by a child.
GIRLS ni Kubittake
GIRLS ni Kubittake (AAC File, 3.2mb; 3:25)
Lyrics: Japanese & English
Performer: Sanji (Hirata Hiroaki), Nami (Okamura Akemi) & Vivi (Watanabe Misa)
Composer: ?
Lyrics By: Fujibayashi Seiko
Arrangement: ?
This is the eighth track on the One Piece Character Song Album, featuring Sanji singing about girls (what else?). Nami and Vivi also make an appearance in this song and they both exchange dialogue with Sanji between verses. The feeling to this song is a very fun and upbeat one and it's great to hear Sanji exclaim things like "Ahh~~! Nami-san!!" and "Yorokonde!! ♥"
Sekai Ichi no Otoko to Yobareru Tame ni
Sekai Ichi no Otoko to Yobareru Tame ni (AAC File, 3.3mb; 3:35)
Lyrics: Japanese & English
Performer: Sanji (Hirata Hiroaki), Zoro (Nakai Kazuya) & Usopp (Yamaguchi Kappei)
Composer: ?
Lyrics By: Fujibayashi Seiko
Arrangement: ?
This is the seventh track on the One Piece Character Song Album, this time Sanji sings with Zoro and Usopp about being manly. ^^; While I don't particularly like Zoro as a singer, the song is still fun to listen to because of its fast-paced beat.

Moulin Rouge is a CD single featuring Sanji singing. The first track is the original song, which is really smooth and classy (just like Sanji himself). It's not jazzy at all, unlike any of the other songs that Sanji has sung, and although it took me a little bit of getting used to when I first started listening to it, I rather enjoy it now. ^^ The karaoke version features the original song without Sanji singing and the remix is a very cool techno version of the original.
The fourth track features a dialogue from Hirata Hiroaki, talking about his role as Sanji. Moulin Rouge begins playing about 20 seconds into the track. Unfortunately, I don't have a translation for this right now and I will not be offering the track for download in order to conserve bandwidth, unless there is a very high demand for it.
